SEWANEE, TN - With 214 team points the Rhodes Men's Track & Field team won the first ever SAA Championship on Saturday afternoon on the campus of Sewanee.  Rhodes captured the team title over Centre College who scored 187 points and Birmingham Southern College who totaled 165 points.  Sophomore Jeremy Phillips was named the SAA Male Athlete of the Meet for his individual victories in the long jump (6.69) 100 meter dash (10.95) 200 meter dash (22.30) and was a member of the winning 4x100 meter relay team (43.22).
