SEWANEE, TN - On the first day of competition at the 2013 SAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, the Lynx got off to a strong start and are currently 2nd in the team standings after six events scored.  Senior Matt Grisham won the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 9:53.20.  Sophomore Jeremy Phillips also picked up an individual title on the day by winning the long jump with a mark of 6.69 meters.
