ATLANTA, Ga. –The SAA has announced the 2013 Women's Track & Field All-Conference award winners and, after voting conducted by the league's head coaches, Tiarra Goode of Birmingham-Southern and Elizabeth Krug of Hendrix took home the top awards of Women's Track Athlete of the Year and Women's Field Athlete of the Year, respectively. Brittany Alexander of Rhodes claimed Newcomer of the Year status while her head coach, Robert Shankman, received the Coach of the Year honor from his peers. A total of 46 student-athletes earned recognition among the league's All-Conference First, Second and Honorable Mention teams.
